1.      Every patient must be screened for blood monitoring at baseline to prevent inappropriate re-treatment.

2.      Before starting Amlepo management, there needs to have a baseline Complete Blood Count (CBC); if that comes normal then begin Amlepo treatment & perform necessary blood test every week for First 18 weeks; again, if baseline CBC comes within normal limits, then shift to monthly monitoring for at least 6 months for as long as you continue treatment.
